Description:

As an Insurance Executive (Baggage Claims), you will be supervising a team that looks after baggage claims processing and settlements at SIA Head Office, reporting to the Insurance Manager. You will be put in charge of the baggage claims handling process, which includes managing the team that review baggage claims submitted by passengers whose baggage have been mishandled, investigate and assess these claims, provide guidance on dispute resolution, personally handles escalated claims and certify verified claims for payments. You will also be expected to advise both internal and external customers on claims assessment and resolution.


Occasionally, you will conduct presentations on the baggage claims handling processes for our overseas personnel within the SIA Group. You will also have the opportunity to work with teams on business projects, analysing, reviewing, planning, innovating and implementing business initiatives.

Requirements:

Required Skills



You should possess a good University degree, preferably with Honours (in any discipline). You should also possess emotional maturity and have excellent people relationship and communication skills. Good analytical skills will be an advantage.
