In order to reinforce the Maintenance team in Singapore we are currently recruiting for an
Aircraft Engineer
Description/Tasks:
1. Aircraft Maintenance Project
1.1. The incumbent shall organize and perform all tasks and duties related to maintenance operations.
1.2. The incumbent shall be assigned aircraft maintenance projects and performed the required inspections and maintenance tasks effectively and efficiently.
1.3. The incumbent will supervise the work task of technicians and enure that all tasks are completed according to regulations and requirements.
1.4. The incumbent will ensure that the work hours allocated for specific tasks are accurate and confirmed the submission of his technicians assigned to him.
1.5. The incumbent will verify all completed tasks and certify the completed work and release the aircraft as air worthy upon the completion of the project.
1.6. The incumbent shall ensure that all regulatory requirements on tasks and work logs are in compliance.
1.7. The incumbent shall lead, direct and perform line and base maintenance inspections for the relevant aircraft.
1.8. The incumbent shall perform and direct the trouble shoot on the specific aircraft for his assigned projects.
1.9. The incumbent may be deployed for aircraft on ground (AOG) projects as and when required.
2. Project Management
2.1. The incumbent will perform pre planning activities prior to the arrival of aircraft.
2.2. The incumbent will coordinate with the planning and supply chain department on manpower and material resources.
2.3. The incumbent will highlight the material requirements and advise on the project schedule to facilitate on time delivery of materials.
2.4. The incumbent will review the project progress and update the product managers accordingly on the revised project schedule.
2.5. The incumbent will perform project closure by coordinating on the redeployment of excess material resources.
2.6. The incumbent will provide technical consultation to the planning department to facilitate the compilation of maintenance work packs
3. People Management
3.1. The incumbent will assign relevant tasks and duties to technicians and contractors for the project.
3.2. The incumbent will brief and provide technical advice to technicians for specific tasks.
3.3. The incumbent shall ensure that the technicians accomplish their assigned task expediently and effectively.
3.4. The incumbent will conduct relevant on the job training to increase the skills and the performance of the technicians.
3.5. The incumbent will review the performance of technicians and provide relevant coaching/ counselling on work performance.
3.6. The incumbent shall advise the Product Manager on the performance of his technicians assigned to his team.
4. Training
4.1. The incumbent may be scheduled for aircraft related training or any other training based on requirements of the company.
4.2. The incumbent will be required to conduct on the job training/ briefing for other employees on the relevant updates and aircraft revisions.
5. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualification/Experience:
Diploma and above in aerospace studies/ engineering with B1 Hong Kong CAD or China CAAC aircraft license
Prior experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer of least 7 years of experience is critical to success in the role.
Formal training qualification at OEM facility listed as maintenance initial or aircraft type training for the relevant aircraft types
Specific aircraft rating for Gulfstream series ie GII/III, G200, GIV,GV, G350/450 and G500/550is critical to success in the role
The incumbent shall to be conversant with the CAMP system for the maintenance status of the aircraft
Prior experience in leading and managing maintenance project is an advantage
Requirements:
Qualification/Experience:
