In order to reinforce the Engineering team in Basel we are currently recruiting for a
Compliance Verification Engineer for Completions Business

Our on-site engineering teams at Jet Aviation Basel provide custom solutions to meet the customers specifications, while ensuring technical feasibility and certification requirements, whether to equip an entirely green aircraft with a customized cabin interior or upgrade the IFE system on the aircraft or elements of an existing interior.
Description/Tasks:

Reporting directly to the Chief of the Office of Airworthiness. CVE function in the Design Assurance system of a Part 21J Design Organisation. Review and approval of compliance documents, including test programmes and data, necessary for the verification of compliance with the applicable CS, FAR and environmental protection requirements and the technical content (completeness, technical accuracy.. ) of the manuals approved by the Agency.

Support the office of airworthiness in:

Coordinating certification projects and cont¡nued airworthiness aspects with the Agency and National authorities
Developing the Design Organization
Co-operation in issuing guidelines for documenting compliance, for the preparation of the manuals required by the applicable implementing rules, Service Bulletins, drawings, specifications, and applicable standards
Advising all departments of the design organization with regards to all questions relating to airworthiness, environmental protection approvals and certification
Monitoring of significant events on other aeronautical products as far as relevant to determine their effect on airworthiness of products being designed by the design organisation

Requirements:

Qualification/Experience:

Detailed knowledge of CVE obligations with respect to EASA Part 21.
Broad knowledge and multi-d¡sciplined background in the specific field of engineering (stress/structures, mechanical/systems) + good knowledge on EASA CS25 type certification processes
Experience with non-European certification processes (FAA/TCCA/...) would be an advantage
Good communication skills.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
German and/or French would be an advantage.
Team player
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Masters Degree and six to ten years related experience, or
Bachelors Degree in engineering and eight to fifteen years experience, or
Significant related experience will be considered and may substitute for academic achievement
