About the job
The purpose of this role is to perform routine and non-routine tasks during maintenance inputs of aircraft and unscheduled maintenance inputs as directed by the Aircraft Licensed Engineer and Shift Managers.



Key responsibilities:

Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on ABY and 3rd party aircrafts during maintenance inputs.
Ensure that proper knowledge is being applied to the task assigned and in accordance to the policies and procedures of the company.
Ensure strict adherence to all pertinent safety precautions as published in manufacturer manuals and other publications.
Ensure that all work meets the standards required by ABY policy, procedures and regulatory authorities.
Provide feedback to the Aircraft Licensed Engineer and Shift Manager for any impending service disruptions or problems and ensure that information is properly disseminated without delay.
Ensure that replacement of parts and components are done in a professional manner by following the right manuals and it meets a high standard of quality.
Responsible for the physical checking and inspection of components prior to fitment to aircraft or component.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance
Minimum 2 years experience on Airbus aircraft in Aircraft maintenance field
Excellent English communication skills
PC literate
Should have a pro-active and interactive attitude, be physically fit and have the ability to travel regularly and at short notice.
Willing to work under harsh weather conditions and in rotating shift patters.
