Description:
The Premium Product Manager, Express Products will be based in the ATG Headquarter and will report directly to the General Manager, Product and Revenue Development and is responsible for the following duties but not limited to:
Leading all sales efforts to increase Express cargo revenues and its global market share
Forecasting and being accountable for revenues for Express product portfolio performance measured by corporate performance tools
Collaborating with Global Sales team and Strategic Partner Programs Managers in formulating and supporting sales strategies and programs based on corporate sales goals and objectives
Conducting external-facing activities such as sales calls to targeted customer base regularly to maintain and grow Express business
Analyzing operational performance data in order to develop and execute actionable plans in partnership with Operations and ACS teams to drive continuous improvement
Driving program effectiveness to Global Sales team and Strategic Partner Programs Managers and other Delta departments to ensure maximum financial return
Researching and facilitating detailed analyses of data to determine optimum programs and goals
Guiding strategic and tactical plans to develop customer relationship management, contract negotiation and implementation and performance for Express accounts
Orchestrating team selling internally along with Customer Service team, SkyTeam and JV partners, with consultative sales support
Requirements:
College degree in business, marketing or finance or a minimum of five years Sales and/or Customer Service experience required. MBA preferred
Extensive knowledge of the cargo industry, products, operational processes and technologies
Strong negotiating and analytical skills required. Should possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have a professional demeanor
Effective time management and multitasking skills in addition to critical thinking skills and high emotional intelligence
Proven leadership skills with experience leading teams with ability to influence and drive change at all levels of organization
Solid planning and organizational skills are required. Must be able to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple, rapidly shifting priorities with little direct supervision
Up to / around 50% travel is required
Must be experienced in solving problems. Analytical and decision making skills required as well as the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Public speaking and presentation skills are required
Experience in leading complex, cross-divisional projects preferred
Must possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications and Delta-specific database platforms
Must be a team player and be performing satisfactorily in present position
