JOB SUMMARY:
Designs, develops and maintains technology-based and instructor-led materials using Instructional Systems Design methodology in conjunction with standardized hardware/software applications. Ensures consistency and compliance in training products. Analyzes, summarizes and incorporates changes into learning interventions based on evaluation data. Provides coaching and mentoring to new and existing designers. Acts as a performance consultant to stakeholders and process owners by recommending training and non-training solutions to improve job performance. Some travel required. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Requirements:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or Adult Education or equivalent job experience/education required. Minimum three (3) years related work experience as a learning designer or multimedia developer preferred. Experience required in all phases of ISD methodology, designing and developing instructor-led and technology based training (virtual learning environments, mobile, gamification); designing complex learning interventions such as scenarios and simulations, multi-day training and blended solutions; selecting and designing in all media; instructor-led web and computer based delivery; creating measurement tools and processes, performance consulting, designing impact maps and using information mapping. Project management experience (Delta's On Track or PMI certification) preferred. Should have the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Should have the ability to work independently and meet schedule requirements. Must be a team player, able to work and coach on teams with designers, SMEs and other support personnel. Should be proficient in using software programs used in curriculum development including: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Flash, Adobe suite (including Captivate), and Dreamweaver. Must have excellent communication (oral and written) skills. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
