Job Summary: Responsible for leading the Cargo Division's cross departmental projects and for leading and/or representing cargo in cross divisional projects. Applies project management methodology to establish project scope and develop project plan. Utilizes process improvement tools to analyze problems / issues, document processes and identify work that needs to be done. Develops business case to define project benefits and costs, and coordinates financial processes to secure funding and approval to proceed. Tracks project budgets and reports expenditures. Assesses project risk and develops mitigation strategies. Manages project plan to ensure completion of milestones within projected timelines, resolves interdependencies among project team and with other projects and/or departmental initiatives. Collects lessons learns and incorporates best practices in the management of subsequent projects. Communicates project progress and makes presentations to project teams, sponsors and stakeholders at various levels of management. Develops business requirements for technology projects and liaises with technology team to prioritize development needs to ensure resources are deployed on projects that provide optimal value and are in line with departmental objectives. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Requirements:

Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience or education preferred. Minimum of two years of project management experience. Must have excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated skills in decision making, process management and problem solving. Extensive knowledge of Cargo operations with knowledge of divisional practices and experience in applying corporate policies required. Experience managing multiple departmental projects and executing divisional projects required. Strong knowledge of Webvision and experience using Microsoft project software, vision and other Microsoft Office applications required.
