Sales IT - Business Analyst Job Description
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, and a minimum 3-5 years of increasing responsibility, in one or more of the following roles: System Analyst, Business Analyst, or Project Manager. Proven experience in creating and supporting web based and BI applications is required. Experience with application development and support in Saleforce.com would also helpful. This Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting Corporate and Agency Sales systems, including: DeltaPro, an industry leading customer facing portal; and SkyPartner Reporting, an innovative BI tool for Corporate Travel managers and Travel Agencies. Airline or hospitality background with specific knowledge of B2B Sales, and loyalty programs is preferred.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities are focused on operational support of existing applications, and on-going enhancement and functional improvements to ensure continued system reliability, data integrity, and industry leading functionality and customer experience.
The analyst is expected to gain knowledge and become subject matter expert on the DeltaPro web portal, and Sales reporting and BI applications.
Improves systems by studying current practices, technical solutions, analyzing requirements, designing constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities, and; writing specifications for new/proposed enhancements.
Ensure all operational SLAs are exceeded.

Requirements:

Skills Required
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Experience developing test requirements and procedures
Leads multiple work-streams in delivering solutions
Excellent and proven Oral/written communications and customer service skills.
Initiative and ability to achieve high performance on cross functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with aggressive deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.
