Description:
FUNCTION: Reporting to the Manager, Stores and Inventory Control.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
File, claim and follow up all Warranty Claims for all Aircraft Parts with Vendors
Track all Warranty claims on monthly/yearly basis to see total value results
Assist Purchasing Supervisor with Purchasing and Repairs
Maintain Approved Vendor List
Maintain Outstanding Purchase Orders
Maintain Outstanding Repair Orders
Develop and maintain relationships with Vendors
Attain quote approvals from appropriate signing authorities on all Purchases/Repairs
Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
Must be organized and detail orientated
Must be able to Multitask and work under pressure
Must be able to work un supervised
A Class G driver's license
Must provide a clean Drivers Abstract
Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs
Dependability (must have a clear attendance record and reliable on time reporting)
Minimum education - high school diploma
Able to obtain a Transport Canada Airport Restricted Area Pass
Aviation Experience is prefered
Minimum of 2 Years of Purchasing/Repairs & Warranty Experience is mandatory
