Independently sell all Lufthansa Technik products and services, grow the Lufthansa Technik customer base and drive strategic business development for all Lufthansa Technik group companies in North America; Direct report to Vice President of Sales for North America.

Tasks:

Support identification of future growth potentials for Americas
Perform market research and customer segmentation as well as consolidate customer know how
Execution of competitor analyses in cooperation with TV/E (Business Intelligence)
Support the Sales Area development from political viewpoint (PEST, SWOT if required)
Support the Lufthansa Technik strategy process for the area
Support Lufthansa Technik Product Divisions’ and subsidiaries’ research in the Americas
Organize workshops/meetings, prepare presentations and perform general research activities

Your profile

High school diploma/GED required
College degree/vocational training required: Master desirable, Bachelor required
Professional experience required: More than 3 years professional experience in marketing, sales support or consulting services; Degree or equivalent skills and knowledge
Language: English required, German and Spanish desirable
Industry knowledge required: Good knowledge of business management basics; Good knowledge of the aviation industry or MRO desirable; Very high organizational skills, high creativity, flexibility, and self-motivation; Excellent negotiator; Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Expert knowledge desirable
Expert IT Knowledge: MS Office

Environmental Influences:

Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
Willingness for assessment screening
Willingness to travel
Must possess a valid driver's license

Airport environment:

Must be willing to work under constant time pressure
Must be willing to work under high stress levels
