The Technical Operation Coordinator assigns the tails of all Swiss International and Swiss European air Lines aircrafts in regards to technical- and operational requirements and publishes the daily rotation plan to all stakeholders. He/she works out the basis for decision and assists the Duty Manager Network in case of extraordinary events in regards to technical and operational requirements. Located at the heart of the airlines aircraft operation (Operation Control Centre), he/she acts as representative of the technical department.
Your Duties
Assigns the tails of the SWR and SWU fleet according to the technical and operational requirements within the ops range of seven days
Publishes the binding aircraft rotations for the following day to all internal and external users
Assures the flow of information regarding the aircraft rotations with all relevant departments
Re-assigns the fleet continuously on the day of operation according to the actual circumstances (delay recovery)
Informs applicable stakeholders in the event of non-standard aircraft rotation changes
Clarifies the technical requirements in case of aircraft type changes
Works out the basis for decision and assists the Duty Manager Network in case of extraordinary events in regards to technical and operational requirements
Plans and optimizes ground time requests by the technical department within a range of eight weeks in adherence with all work due requirements and operational needs
Handles and coordinates extra services (e.g. flying engineer, flight kit, crew rest etc.) with prior consultation of the corresponding stake holders
Requirements:
Your profile
Excellent German- and good English language skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong technical background
Strong analytical thinking skills and good problem solving abilities
Several years in aviation maintenance (preferably line- or base maintenance)
Production- or operation planning experience preferred
Computer skills MS Office must, Net-Line, AMOS and SAREX preferred
Willingness to work shifts (early/late/365 days)
Age 30 to 40 years preferred
