About the Job

Air Arabia is looking for a technically competent individual to manage the team and all Technical aspects of the company’s IT Infrastructure among the group. The said individual will be accountable for the support, maintenance, and development of the infrastructure while ensuring that reliable and cost effective IT solutions are implemented across the organization.



Key Accountabilities:
The IT Operational Manager will be responsible for leading & contributing towards achieving the business objectives including but not limited to the preparation and enforcement of IT strategies and policies, contributing to budget formulation in line with business objectives and the publishing of objectives, targets and milestones.

The IT Operational Manager will oversee the ISO 20000 certification and ongoing compliance issues, analyzing the trend reporting on all IT processes, development of improvement action plans while also developing, executing and managing all new projects related to IT Infrastructure. He /she will be expected to research, develop and integrate IT components for the Airline taking advantage of new business opportunities offered by evolving technologies.

The IT Operational Manager provides guidance to other departments on all issues related to IT/IT infrastructure including the development, design and maintenance of existing / new IT services that are acquired. He/she also oversees the implementation of relevant security procedures and practices in order to ensure data integrity and confidentiality of information.

In this role, the selected individual must be able to work independently, under pressure with minimal supervision while being both customer and cost oriented.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:
Educated to a minimum of Bachelor Degree in IT
Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT network, security & Infrastructure
Advanced level of knowledge in Information Security management & Ethical hacking, Certification preferred
Knowledge of ITIL V3.0 and ISO 20000, Certification preferred
Ability to lead a team but also work with a hands-on approach to technical tasks
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
