This position reports to Catering Support & Logistics Senior Executive
Job Purpose
The objective of the CSLE is to provide 24/7 catering and logistics support to the Royal Jet Cabin Crew team in order to ensure smooth operation of all flights and ensure seamless service to our Guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for acquiring and maintaining a database of menus and pricing from all destinations, so that required catering is planned according to the provided menu/ pricing.

2. Responsible for ensuring monthly catering costs on each aircraft does not exceed the assigned budget. At all times, apply suitable measures to ensure cost-savings without any undesirable impact on the service onboard.

3. Follow-up on daily flight movement (i.e. AIMS and NCFs) and coordinate with handlers/ caterers/ hotels/ restaurants at base and down-route. Conduct catering order for all Royal Jet aircrafts, on live and positioning sectors operating from Abu Dhabi and downroute.

4. Liaise with appointed stakeholders/ vendors at base and downroute (i.e. flower vendor, drystores, commissary services, catering companies, hotels, restaurants, etc)
5. Liaise with Pursers and provide a copy of the flowers/ drystores/ catering order planned for the flight.

6. Coordinate with Sales, Crew Scheduling, Flight Operations & Ground Operations Logistics during the planning stages of a flight, ensuring the required ground logistics are organized to ensure on-time performance of departing/ arriving Royal Jet Flights i.e. caterers and high-loaders/ cleaners/ etc.

7. Conduct catering orders for visiting aircraft at the Royal Jet FBO in Abu Dhabi.

8. Follow-up with relevant stakeholders in case of diversions, delays, change in schedule or cancellations of a flight in order to ensure required catering is provided/ amended/ cancelled in a timely manner.

9. Follow-up with caterers at base and downroute re: losses/ breakages of equipment. Liaise with GOLM and Finance Department to ensure items are financially reimbursed if these cannot be safely returned back to Royal Jet.

10. Track and document catering delays in order to measure On-Time Performance (OTP)

11. Update AIMS regularly to ensure correct database of catering and handling agents

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience/ Education

- High school certificate essential, with at least 5 years total experience in the aviation industry
- Successfully completed previous service related training provided by the SCCD
- Catering/ Hotel/ Hospitality background desirable
- Computer skills is a must - word, excel, outlook
