About the Job

Air Arabia is looking for an experienced and experienced individual to manage the various aspects of Air Arabia’s daily operations at the station while monitoring, directing and controlling the staff and the GHA to ensure that all airport operations are operating efficiently in accordance to the policies and procedures of Air Arabia and the respective Airport Authority while achieving optimal on-time performance and customer satisfaction levels in a cost-effective manner. This position will be based in Chennai.



Key Accountabilities:

The Airport Manager will be responsible for all day to day operational issues at the station (both at the terminal as well as ramp-side) in accordance with Air Arabia procedures ensuring the provision of efficient and customer focused service to all passengers and on-time performance. He/she will represent Air Arabia ground operation in liaising with various authorities at the station level to manage the airport operation efficiently while focusing on protecting the interests of the company.

The Airport Manager will be responsible for coordinating with the Country Manager and Regional Manager Ground Operations in the case of disruption/delays and implementation of the recovery plans. Additionally he/she will be responsible for reporting and investigating all incidents / accidents, customer complaints and theft/pilferage cases. Where required, the Airport Manager will be responsible for informing the local authorities as required. He/she will ensure that proper records are maintained of all investigations and reports.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

Must be educated to Higher Diploma or Degree level in Business Administration
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position at a supervisory level with an airline
Basic aviation security training and Screeners certification
Strong organizational, decision making and customer service skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
