Are you an enthusiastic, organised and driven individual ready to step up to a new and exciting challenge? Your new role as Regional Business Analyst will see you performing the day to day accounting operation within allocated area of responsibility including Accounts Receivable, Banking, various Account Payable tasks and ledger reconciliation. Reporting to and supporting the Senior Regional Business Analyst, you will partner with the business to participate in project and ad hoc assignment and to ensure local statutory requirements are met from a finance perspective.

You will be responsible for:

Preparation of Journals, ledger reconciliations and month end activities including month end variances and cost of sale reporting
Liaising with Business units to ensure accurate budget and forecast inputs are understood and conveyed
Preparing forecasts and budgets for the designated account categories
Support ad hoc requests for information and analysis and business case development
Assist audit assignments to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements
Day to day accounting operations within allocated area of responsibility
Respond to queries from business units or escalate asappropriate
Preparation of cash flow forecasts and handling of fund transfers to ensure appropriate bank balances are maintained on station within Treasury balance limit.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will display:

Diploma / Certificate holder or University graduate in Accounting/ Finance preferred
Minimum three years working experience in related job
Standard ledger accounting ability
Strong and proven analytical skills
Proactive and able to work in a team and multicultural environment under minimal supervision
Good personal organisation and time management skills with the ability to work within time constraints and committed to meeting tight deadline
Strong PC skills across EXCEL and Oracle
Sound interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese,conversational Mandarin preferred
Possess the right to live and work in Hong Kong.
