Exciting opportunity to provide financial expertise in the Supply Chain Portfolio

Located within Decision Support in theCentre of Finance Excellence, this role will provide financial expertise toBusiness Unit Finance and other stakeholders through the delivery of analyticsand reporting. Applying professionally accredited disciplines, the role will support the Decision Support team in the delivery of finance services in key areas such as performance result evaluation, modelling and advice of financial outcomes, Complex financial modelling and robust stress testing analysis, key performance analysis and provision of external analysis such as benchmarking and competitor analysis.

You will be responsible for:

Reviewing the month-end results for specific business units, using in-depth business knowledge to provide insight, commentary and analysis
Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting including the coordination of dashboard reports, monthly flash and result analysis, risk and opportunities reporting, transformation reporting and non-standard reports
Leading the preparation of periodic budgets, forecasts, risk & opportunities and reconciliations as required, whilst ensuring a sound financial control and governance framework is maintained across the business
Supporting business through development of RFA business cases and ongoing transformation support
Maintaining strong relationships with Business Unit Finance teams and managing competing priorities to ensure excellent customer service is delivered
Coordinating production and delivery of ad hoc requests for information and analysis
Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of the business through formal and informal channels; and
Assisting with statutory reporting requirements at the half and year end

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you willdisplay:

Professional accounting qualification or near completion of study enabling membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA Australia
Advanced Excel modelling skills with demonstrated use in continuous improvement of financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting processes
Demonstrated commercial and strategic thinking
Ability to identify relationships between financial and non-financial variables with the capability to deliver clear financial advice
Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence and challenge effectively across both finance and non-finance areas with all levels of management
High levels of personal organisation to be able to manage multiple projects within required time frames and deadlines
Highly motivated with proven initiative to be able to work to deadlines under limited supervision
