Description:

Financial Project Specialist / Tear Down (M/F)
Starting Immediately
Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC.

Leads the Tear-Down project and is the focal point for all financial and data related aspects of the project, as well as oversees the resource planning and project cost and revenue. Will further be the financial analyst for all Human Resources and personnel related cost issues. Analyzes, interprets and reports cost and financial data, as well as performance indicators.

Tasks:

Tear-down project planning and project reporting
Focal point to all units including Hamburg as well as accounting and production
Organizes and summarizes weekly status and progress reports
Analyzes, interprets and reports costs and finances as well as performance indicators
Responsible for inventory risk management as well as quantitative and qualitative forecasting
Ensures the correct and timely cost allocation, structure and controlling
Initiates and leads planning processes (Strategy, Budget) including forecasting
Prepares profitability analysis for different product lines
Support management in formulating strategic and long-term investment plans and ROI calculations
Responsible for timely reporting
Derives “lessons learned” and advises management
Conducts evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Participates in monthly and annual financial closing activities
Liases with all department heads on all financial matters
Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Your profile

High school diploma/GED required
College degree/vocational training desirable: Master desirable, Bachelor desirable
Professional experience required: 2-3 years’ experience in Finance, or related field
Language: English required, German desirable
Industry knowledge: Aviation experience desirable
Expert IT Knowledge: MS Office (especially Excel)

Environmental Influences:

Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
Willingness for assessment screening
Willingness to travel

Airport environment:

Must be willing to work shifts/overtime
Must be willing to work under constant time pressure
Must be willing to work under high stress levels
