Supervises all operational Tear-Down Activities at Lufthansa Technik Component Services. Leads and directs operational personnel to conduct all necessary technical activities in the most efficient, cost effective, and safe and quality driven manner possible.

Tasks:

Supervises leads, trains and monitors all employees in his/her crew in Tear-Down activities within established guidelines and timeframes
Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development
Responsible for work assignments and signing off work
Communicates regularly with management staff concerning Tear-Down activities status
Ensures work flows within the department in accordance with the work schedules
Maintains all supplies and tooling for the department
Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline (in conjunction with the Manager) and all necessary documentation
Reports to, co-operates with and supports the Manager Finance and Controlling
Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Your profile

High school diploma/GED desirable
College degree/vocational training desirable
Professional experience required: 2 years
Language: English required
Industry knowledge desirable: Aircraft Components
Expert knowledge required: FAA AandP Certificate or FAA Repairman Certificate
IT Knowledge as user: MS Office

Environmental Influences:

Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
Willingness for assessment screening
Must possess a valid driver's license

Airport environment:

Must be willing to work shifts/overtime
Must be willing to work under constant time pressure
Must be willing to work under high stress levels
Must be willing to work with noise pollution

Authorities:

In accordance with rules and regulations, and given authorities
Disciplinary leading of employees, decisions on salary and time and attendance topics will be performed by the Production Manager
