Salary range $82,000 to $90,000 + Super and industry benefits

Your new position as Lounge Operations Manager will see you performing / driving change and improvements across all aspects of the lounges financial, people, safety, operational performance and service strategies. Located at the Brisbane Domestic Airport this role will report directly to the Manager Cabin Crew Base and Lounges.

You will be responsible for:
Leading and managing the team and their delivery of Qantas standards in the Domestic Lounges
Consulting with management team, monitoring the delivery of Domestic Lounge experience in Chairman's Lounge, Qantas Club and Business Lounges
Monitoring delivery of labour, food and beverage contract by Accor
Managing lounge maintenance requirements and assisting with local project management with lounge redevelopments and refurbishments
Managing delivery of Lounge promotions and advertising as required
Assisting in management of Food safety requirements and operational OH&S requirements and
Maintaining an exceptional level of hospitality and continuous improvement culture across team and Lounges.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will display:
Previous experience in a leadership role with proven people management ability
Demonstrated ability to build and lead an effective team
Demonstrated commitment to exceptional premium customer service and continuous improvement philosophy
Thorough understanding of airport and lounge operations
Thorough level of understanding of Aviation Legislation Requirements as they pertain to Qantas and the ability to ensure implementation of the robust corporate processes and procedures to ensure Airport compliance
Thorough understanding of the Qantas Clubs Access Policy and Oneworld Access Policy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make cost effective business decisions
Proven experience with change management in an operational environment
