Your new role will see you responsible for the design and implementation / delivery of exceptional advertising, promotional, and communication activities for Qantas Freight and Catering, consistent with brand identity. You will develop strategies and products for the purpose of acquire and retain business as well as developing the annual marketing and communications campaign calendar of events and the Qantas Freight and Catering Customer Advocacy Program.



Your core responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing agreed, cost effective marketing and communications plans and campaigns to address current market demands, appropriate customer segments and competitor practices
Ensuring all marketing and communications programs drive maximum return on investment and optimise exposure
Managing and developing an effective advertising strategy for all Qantas marketing communications encompassing annual contracts, rates, strategic / creative direction and placement / publications
Managing the lead relationship for Qantas Freight and Catering with the creative agencies
Developing and implementing cost effective marketing communications campaigns and promotions to support sales revenue targets, generate positive brand exposure and maximise return on investment
Managing the ongoing delivery of the Qantas Freight Customer Advocacy Program (NPS)
Generating customer driven insights; collaborating with Chief Operating Officer – Qantas Freight to generate recommendations and action plan in response to regular NPS feedback
Developing and managing relationships with and between key internal stakeholders, external marketing and business service providers and preferred industry partners in order to optimise revenue and return on investment
Leadership of a team, and driving a high performance culture whilst ensuring on-going and continual development

Requirements:

To be successful you will possess:

Demonstrated experience and related qualifications in Business, Marketing, Advertising or a related field
Demonstrated experience in leading a team with a track record of talent pipelining
The ability to develop and implement advertising strategies with a proven track record of success
Previous corporate experience in strategy development and implementation
The demonstrated ability to deliver results within a complex business environment with varying stakeholder needs and expectations
Previous experience in managing external vendors / suppliers and contract negotiation
Exemplary communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level
Strong facilitation and relationship management skills coupled with strategic competencies
Proven strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complexity, and think broadly, with attention to detail
Strong commercial acumen with a well-developed understanding of strategic, financial, technological and business issues
