Job Description



Advise on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters pertaining to the air transport industry, including competition, economic sanctions, data privacy, and intellectual property.
Handle claims and litigation, including passenger compensation and cross-border litigation.
Manage external counsels; in each case with respect to SIA and its unlisted subsidiaries.
Do some general legal drafting, support risk management/regulatory compliance, and supervise junior lawyers and support staff.
You will report to the head of the legal section.

Requirements:

Required Skills



You should be a lawyer (preferably qualified in Singapore or another Commonwealth jurisdiction) with at least 5 years’ legal experience gained in a reputable law firm or in-house, and have litigation experience. Aviation, general insurance or cross-border litigation experience will be an advantage. You should be able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
