You will be part of a team responsible for SIA’s famed and innovative in-flight food and beverage product. Working with SIA’s caterers in Singapore and overseas, you will be involved in the planning and implementation of SIA’s inflight menus, beverage product and overseeing quality control. You will be required to monitor customer feedback and follow culinary trends to implement new offerings that continually excite SIA’s customers. The candidate must be open to travelling frequently.
Requirements:
Required Skills
You should have detailed knowledge of international food and beverages, and at least 10 years’ experience in catering, including experience in 5-star international establishments or recognised quality restaurants. Good practical culinary knowledge is essential. You should have a good knowledge of all styles of food including ethnic food. Experience overseas or in airline catering would be advantageous.
You should also be a trained chef, have exposure to internal cuisines (Western and Asian, not just Asian).
Candidates with total years of working experience of not less than 25 years (assuming apprentice started at the age of 20), while holding managerial/F&B director position at least for the past 8-10 years in 5-Star International Hotel with a current position higher than Executive Chef will stand an advantage.
