The Senior Analyst - Corporate Sales Development role is responsible for the development and implementation of corporate sales programs and strategies designed to maximize the revenue and market share performance for contracted accounts. This role serves as the primary liaison between the front-line sales team and the various commercial departments in support of all corporate sales program related matters. In addition, the Senior Analyst will identify opportunities to increase revenues, shift market share, reduce costs and improve business processes. Also included in this role is financial analysis of program effectiveness and on-going performance reporting. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

This position is based in Los Angeles, CA

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a business or analytical discipline and 1-3 years equivalent work experience is preferred. General knowledge of Delta's markets and competitive market position, sales strategies, programs, processes, tools and infrastructure is highly desirable; travel industry sales/marketing experience is a plus. Should be solution-oriented, multi-task capable and have demonstrated the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment. Demonstrates initiative and self-directs work. Should possess strong analytical and computer skills, sound organizational and planning skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to make sound business decisions. Knowledge of PRISM and Hyperion/BRIO skills along with working knowledge of Revenue Pipeline and MIDT tables in enterprise warehouse highly desirable. Knowledge of Hyperion, SAS, SQL or similar data analytics highly desirable. Highly proficient PC skills including advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point are required. This position requires regular business travel and applicant must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
