Description:
The Sales Account Executive LAC is responsible for maximizing revenues and market share within assigned corporate and agency portfolio.
Primary responsibilities include:
Building, maintaining, and managing agency and/or corporate relationships at all levels within the account. Mine existing accounts for new business opportunities
Collaboratively negotiate, close and implement agreement renewals
Performance analysis for maintenance of agreements and growth of revenue with key customer interfaces.
Prospect and secure new business.
In collaboration with manager develop and implement sales and account strategies based on the Global Sales revenue plan.
Evaluate and report results and competitive developments.
Provide feedback and recommendations on changes to products, programs, service and policy.
Cooperate with corporate and /or agency Sales Development in executing of sales strategies and programs.
With approved templates as a guide, builds, customizes and delivers quarterly account performance reviews.
Facilitates appropriate corrective action to address account underperformance.
Networks to navigate team selling with other departments and alliance partners.
Acts on behalf of customer and Delta within respective organizations in communication and execution of sales strategies and programs.
Provide service support for portfolio as required.
Creates activity reports for manager to document activities, actions and results.
Consults with accounts on key business /industry issues
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (and/or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing or related fields highly preferred.18-24 months industry experience.18- 24 months sales or sales support experience. Candidate should possess a strong orientation towards sales and understand how to create and maintain profitable business relationships with assigned accounts.
Demonstrate aptitude for strong interpersonal relationships and business decision making skills.
Must be able to manage change with resilience and display tremendous drive and commitment.
Candidate must possess strong skills in written and verbal communications, data analysis, negotiation, time management, organization, planning, and presentations.
Ability to pull basic sales reports opportunities from the data pulls, prioritize based on value, and develop and execute plans to achieve opportunities.
Demonstrate leadership capabilities and have the ability to disseminate information professionally according to Delta values.
Must demonstrate high proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Prefer knowledge of Delta's Reservation System. Knowledge and fluency in Salesforce.com
Must be willing and able to travel to support assigned accounts. Must be able to work with collaborative supervision and work well in a team environment.
Candidate should possess an overall knowledge of company products, procedures and policies along with DL Sales programs and our partners.
Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is required
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
