Revenue Management Development is seeking a Specialist to lead development of decision support tools and designing of new data sources to advance Delta's commercial strategy. In addition, the successful individual will play a critical role in a variety of cross-functional analysis projects and report development. The selected candidate will combine strong business knowledge and technical skills with an in-depth understanding of RM systems and concepts to help drive decision making across the organization. This individual will also be able to effectively communicate complex technical subject matter to a nontechnical audience. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Primary functions
Design, model, and support new Revenue Management data sources that will support major Delta revenue generating initiatives such as Basic Economy, Economy Comfort, and other ancillary revenue sources
Lead the design and implementation of new dashboards using a combination of SAS and Tableau to help various RM teams more efficiently identify revenue opportunities
Manage RMD's existing suite of revenue reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Identify and understand Revenue Management opportunities and propose and execute solutions that are time and cost effective

Requirements:

Job Qualifications:
BA/BS or advanced degree in quantitative discipline such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Decision Science or Operations Research. This position requires working experience in revenue management as well as sound analytical and communication skills and at least 1 year of experience in a comparable field. Working knowledge of RM tools and data is strongly preferred. Must be capable of managing multiple projects with limited supervision and make well informed priority trade-offs. SAS, UNIX, Hyperion/BRIO, and Tableau skills are preferred. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
