Description:

Reliability Programs Analysts represent corporate interest by maintaining the highest standards of safety, airworthiness and reliability of Delta Aircraft and administer Delta's Reliability Program Document D074 (TOPP 20-40-05). Reliability Programs Analyst ensures the log pages, maintenance delays & cancellations and aircraft out of service events have the correct ATA code applied for accurate Delta fleet/component performance measurements. Log page and non-routine data is reviewed daily to identify and report any failures, malfunctions or defects that meet the requirements of 14CFR 121.703. The analyst is also responsible for identifying and reporting Service Difficulty reportable items and Operational difficulty reportable items using Delta's ODI process and the FAA SDR process. Analysts will collect statistical data required for periodic fleet performance reports, discovery of trends, time extensions and revisions for Maintenance Programs, and Adhoc data analysis projects to support Engineering processes. Analysts are part of the Operational Reliability Teams (ORT) that supports the Reliability Control Board (RCB) by working issues or concerns at the highest technical levels with experts on the subject matter.

Review log pages and ATA data for trouble aircraft that are long term reliability drivers outside of current MCC requirements. Will assist other analysts in identification of trouble acft and review of ATAs.

Requirements:

Airframe or Powerplant licenses with a minimum of three years aircraft maintenance experience or Engineering experience Required. Green Belt certification highly desireable. Should have a strong technical knowledge of the aircraft, thorough understanding of aircraft manuals, TOPP, production processes and regulatory maintenance program requirements. College degree or equivalent experience required. Prefer major in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, or Engineering. Should have strong analytical and computer skills. Airline experience and knowledge of the industry is preferred, but not required. Should have strong business/management skills and experience. Should have strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be proficient with Microsoft Office software products, and desirable if they're familiar with DBMS, DLTerm, Sceptre, Hyperion, and other Delta Computer programs. Should have the ability to work well with others in a time sensitive and team.
