Responsibilities:

WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:

Perform Safety Information Management System (SIMS) Activities.
Acquire/Maintain SIMS Data in preparation for analysis, triggering and reporting.
Plan Safety & Security Technology Management for Safety and Security technology needs.
Manage Safety & Security Technology System Maintenance for Safety and Security in coordination with Technology.
Manage Safety & Security Technology Strategic Work for Safety and Security with all relevant stakeholders.
Manage Safety & Security New Technology Implementation for Safety and Security with all relevant stakeholders.

Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.



May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. College degree (specialization in technology, engineering, English and/or safety preferred). Equivalent work experience of at least 3 years developing policy and procedures, technology systems and/or planning functions.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

2 years professional business process development (analysis, design, and/or programming) experience.
2 years experience with programming languages such as SQL, VBA and/or Python?
2 years’ experience working with databases a plus.
3 years developing and supporting technology applications (e.g. Microsoft, EtQ Reliance, Wizard, etc.).
1 year developing and supporting technology applications (e.g. Salesforce, Tableau, Riskonnect)
2 years’ experience working with complex projects.
2 years’ experience with Crystal Reports or similar tools preferred.
3 years of airline part 121 operational experience.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of technology systems.
Ability to develop end-user requirements.
Ability to manage short term computing system requirements.
Ability to manage long term computing system development and integration.
Ability to train on computing department computing systems.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent knowledge of working in a Microsoft environment, such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of airline part 121 operations.
Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company.
Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all Internal and External Customers.

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:



Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
