Responsibilities:
WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:
Works closely with Tooling Program Leader to ensure Program success.
Lead projects related to Regulatory and Safety attributes as they arise.
Monitor service levels, and effect change when needed to ensure Safety and Compliance is #1.
Support Production Leadership on the day to day tactical needs of the Tooling Program.
Make recommendations for program improvements to Supply Chain Leadership.
Lead projects to ensure 100% completion.
Create, Document and track Safety/Compliance Issues through the Tool Review Committee. This includes maintaining agenda, minutes and monitor work resulting from the Tool Review Committee.
Must be able to work with other groups inside and outside SWA to ensure Program success.
Ensure MPM guidance is being followed relating to Tooling and Equipment responsibilities and update changes when necessary.
Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College degree preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
5 Years’ experience In Maintenance and Supply Chain preferred.
3 Years’ experience within Aircraft Tooling to include calibration requirements, NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) preferred.
Supervisor or Management experience preferred.
1 year Project Management experience preferred.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Must have physical abilities sufficient to work in the vicinity of ramps, warehouse, and at a fast pace.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:
Must be a Proven change leader, with experience in implementing organizational changes and gaining assent of diverse stakeholders.
Must possess good written and oral skills, with the ability to organize and teach.
General knowledge of FAA regulations specific to 14 CFR Part 121air carrier operations.
Computer skills should include but are not limited to working with Microsoft Office software, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Company manuals.
Must have the ability to work under stressful situations and manage time effectively.
Must have the ability to prioritize tasks to meet department objectives and goals.
Mental demands include, but are not limited to: detailed work, confidentiality, reading documents, problem-solving, stress, mathematical ability, reasoning, meet and interact with various departments, multiple concurrent tasks, and constant interruptions.
Must pocess the following:
Excel in building and maintainin positive relationships through partnering with other SWA functional areas such as Production, Purchasing, Planning, Engineering, Quality and Material Stores to drive maximum customer satisfaction and profitability
Manages, defines, and executes diverse project plans & implementation plans; able to manage multiple large projects simultaneously using standard project management methodology and procedures
Generate analysis, presentations, and recommendations in support of the Procurement, Planning, and Production teams to improve efficiency and reduce unscheduled aircraft down time
Strong ability to delegate project deliverables; Excels in appointing people with tasks and maximizing a team effort
Excel in building trust and close report within a cross-functional team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
Develop key performance reports as well as periodic or ad hoc analyses in support of projects or proposals, new business opportunities, and to help manage the tooling program
Investigate problems, find root causes, identify trends, and implement solutions based on findings
Provide timely updates and analysis to Supply Chain partners to identify scenario planning opportunities
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Travel and extended work hours may be necessary at times (10-15%).
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
