In order to reinforce the Planning team in Hong Kong we are currently recruiting for an
Planning Manager

The Planning Manager is responsible for:

All maintenance activities in the hangar
The organisation and proper operation of the repair station for the maintenance of aircraft and component repair
Ensuring performance of all aircraft maintenance are in accordance with the policies and procedures of this repair station manual and appropriate FAR’s
The development and maintenance of an adequate workforce, and Monitoring of schedules, personnel, quality of work and budgets.

Description/Tasks:

Liaise with customers regarding quotations, invoices and contracts;
Oversee daily operations with regard to schedules, budgets and manpower;
Ensure the tooling, equipment, technical data and manpower are available for the contracted work;
Oversee the purchasing of spares, equipment
Ensure that the work authorization is obtained prior to commencement of work
Assign personnel to carry out work on AOG basis at sites other than at repair station within the limitations of the repair station certificate
Coordinate the provisioning of tooling, equipment, manuals and training of personnel to obtain additional ratings to the capability list
Liaise with manufacturers’ representatives to resolve unusual defects or recurring defects
Other duties as directed by the Company

Requirements:

Qualification/Experience:

More 10 years in Aviation Industry, preferable on the Business and/or private Aviation Experience;
More than 5 years of experience in managing a sizable engineering team, in aviation related industries;
Hold an EASA and/or FAA Maintenance Licence, and/or a Bachelor degree or above in Engineering;
Master degree in business administration or additional qualifications in management;
Liaison experience with the HKCAD, FAA, EASA and/or other aviation industry agents;
Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards;
Communication skills, verbal and written, in English are essential.
