In order to reinforce the Supply Chain Management team in Hong Kong we are currently recruiting for an
Assistant Supply Chain Manager
To oversee the step that comprises the logistics and distribution of all parts inventory utilized on aircraft and/or components, within company's regulatory approved capability.
Description/Tasks:

Ensure sufficient supply of inventory to satisfy Engineering’s and Customers’ requirements
Ensure competitive quotations to be obtained for capital equipment and commercial items
Ensure secure storage for all parts and materials owned by the company or Customers
Ensure acquisition, receiving, inspection and storage of inventory complied with regulatory authority requirements
Develop and maintain the supply chain procedures to be followed
Develop and maintain the system and manual procedures for business continuity
Revise and review company procedures and policies periodically in consultation with Engineering Managememt
Perform any corrective actions resulting from audit by QA Department and HKCAD, EASA, AACM and FAA
Work closely with both internal and external parties and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Execute and monitor all regular purchasing duties
Expedite, monitor and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system
Assist in managing and following up purchase orders
Support relevant departments with quotations for the customers
Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures
Purchase and issue order in accordance to specification
Source for new parts, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises
Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the company

Requirements:

Qualification/Experience:

Tertiary education or above
Training in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related discipline is preferred
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in procurement / warehouse / logistics / customer services duties
Previous experience in aircraft industry will be an advantage
