The successful candidate will be required to define, integrate and upgrade IT system architecture to support business strategy.



Key responsibilities include:

Define and maintain the enterprise technical architecture by analysing requirements; determining systems architecture, components, and technologies; studying business operations and setting up technical standards
Work with the Infrastructure Architecture to lead the creation and review of systems capability strategy to ensure it fulfils the strategic requirements of the business
Review and guide project solution architecture. Provide architectural expertise, direction and assistance to development teams
Initial focus is on enterprise information architecture, big data analytics and eCommerce architecture.
Keep current on the strategic digital landscape (consumers, competitors, technologies, etc.), evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements, shares this information with key stakeholders and drive adoption when relevant
Ensure good governance for all aspects of enterprise architecture facilitate / support digital strategy

Requirements:

Required Skills

At least 2-3 years of experience in enterprise technical architect role in a large organisation, preferably in an end user organisation with focus on information / data architecture.
Experience in software architecture, information / data architecture, eCommerce and mobile architecture and/or architecture for big data analytics will be an advantage
Broad and deep knowledge of current and emerging technologies
Exposure to multiple diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to deal with complexity and strong problem solving skills
