Job Description



1. Research, Develop and Implement an Effective Compliance Management Program



Research best practices and regulatory requirements of what constitutes and “effective compliance management program”
Develop the policies, structures and practice guidelines to implement the Program
Implement the Program through training, briefings and communications/ publications




2. Monitor, Verify, Report, Review and Improve the Compliance Management Program



Verify that business units have complied with requirements of laws and regulations
Carry out on-going Monitoring of compliance efforts at Business Units and Report on the Compliance Management activities and efforts
Assist the Risk & Compliance Management Committees in Reviewing the appropriateness and adequacy of compliance efforts and activities
Review the effectiveness of the overall Compliance Management Program, and recommend and implement improvements to the Program


3. Support the investigation of any alleged non-compliance and to propose remedial responses for implementation, including improving the Compliance Management Program if required.




4. Develop, Promote and Encourage Awareness and good Compliance Culture



Communicate and Train employees/ agents on Compliance Management requirements
Develop and promote a Compliance Culture within the organization and amongst agents
To encourage self-control and self-enforcement by introducing programs to motivate and incentivize employees/agents to comply or declare.




5. Whatever else necessary to ensure that SIA Group complies with all laws and regulations in all territories that the Company operates in.

Requirements:

Required Skills



You must have a degree in a related field and have an excellent command of English (spoken and written). Previous work experience in Compliance is preferred.
