Job Summary: Oversee the Revenue Pipeline Solution Center's (RPSC) Business Analysis & Reporting team including supervising and managing all aspects of direct reports? overall performance; staffing, goal and objective setting, coaching, training, and administering reviews. Work with the RPSC and various business customers and determine clear and actionable requirements for new or existing Revenue Pipeline (RP) reports and queries while managing end-user expectations. Then design, develop, test, and document structured queries and reports to extract data from the Revenue Pipeline Analytical database (RPAD). Maximize the performance and accuracy of standard and ad hoc queries and reports. Proactively perform audits of RPAD data, reports, queries, and tables to identify weaknesses in RP data integrity, reliability, or technical processes. Perform project management activities including: budgeting, work planning, resource estimating, issue prioritization and resolution, and training. Propose and review the requirements for new RP processes or modifications to RPAD. Document, design, test and audit the impacted RPAD activities. Perform deep senior management requested standard financial and data analysis of RP information related to passenger revenues, commissions, rasm, yield, profitability, and contractual agreements for various customer groups. Recommend business process and/or design enhancements to DL management. Work with the RPSC and Information Technology (IT) teams to analyze, design, build, test, and implement these enhancements. Perform data validation and explain differences between RP data and other sources of data to end-users. Research and communicate answers to end-users? questions regarding RP data and reports. Prepare and facilitate sessions which explain RP data, attributes, and reports; common end-user challenges with RP data, and general Brio query knowledge for the purposes of analysis, report development, and training. Serve as a RP Subject Matter Expert. Manage multiple existing and developing system projects and analyses with limited supervision in a fast paced environment. Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Requirements:
Job Qualifications: Requires Bachelors Degree or five or more years experience in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or related field. Must be capable of performing challenging analytical work and possess the ability to communicate detailed analytical data through oral and written means to all levels of management. Must be able to organize and prioritize work assignments in order to work on several projects concurrently and meet or exceed deadlines. Must have excellent coaching and communication skills. Must have the ability to work well with others in a time sensitive and team environment with minimal supervision. Must possess the ability quickly and accurately acquire a working knowledge of other DL business processes and related data needs. Should possess strong knowledge of RP processes, practices, and data. Proficiency in Brio or similar analysis tool required. SAS knowledge is a plus. Should be proficient in MS Office applications, Documentum, and Visio. Should be a self-starter, with a natural curiosity to explore and understand any given situation. Should have some proven project management and/or IT project experience including requirements gathering, design, analysis, testing, status reporting, issue identification and resolution, work planning, and resource estimating. Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
