Description:

FUNCTION: This position is responsible for managing the company’s pricing and seat allocation in order to maximize revenue. This position reports to the Director, Revenue Management and Alliances.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage revenue performance and flight level inventory of assigned markets on a daily
basis.
Develop flight forecasts and implement Porter’s seat inventory management strategy.
Maintain pricing and revenue management systems parameters to deliver on the chosen course of action.
Perform reporting and detailed analysis of KPIs, track performance versus goals, find revenue opportunities, and close revenue leakage holes.
Liaise and coordinate with internal commercial and operational stakeholders to ensure policy and required customer experiences are realized on a day to day basis.
Support all commercial and/or applicable operational initiatives to successful completion.
Ensure data and revenue integrity are paramount in all day to day processes, databases, and dashboards.
Develop training and educational programs for Revenue Management and other stakeholder groups.
Develop and implement Porter’s public and private pricing strategy.
Manage and administer the process of implementing public/private fare filings in ATPCO.
Monitor and analyze competitors fare initiatives and day to day pricing /seat inventory adjustments to ensure competitiveness.
Actively participating in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of two years working experience with at least one year of experience in an airline Pricing and Revenue Management, Finance, Network Planning, Loyalty Analytics, or Distribution/sales planning function.
University Degree with a focus in Marketing, Finance, Network Planning, Strategic Planning, Operational Research, Mathematics or Engineering is required. MBA or M.Sc a plus.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Working knowledge of industry revenue management systems is a plus.
Familiarity with GDS systems, Navitaire and ATPCO, would be an asset.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, database management tools, and HTML 5.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
Proficiency in using open source DB querying and analytical tools a plus.
Solve problems through developing partnerships, finding opportunities, and determining appropriate solutions.
