Frontier, the Low Fares Done Right Airline is looking for a Facilities Projects Manager. The right person in this position will be responsible for the planning, implementation and oversight of all Facilities related projects within Frontier’s network, headquarters and hangar. This individual will also be responsible for developing strong relationships with internal/external customers and partners to ensure the use of best practices in achieving on-time, on-budget project completion.
Essential Functions:
• Plan, implement, and supervise all facility-related projects to include design/bid/build construction projects, improvements and/or tenant relocations.
• Prepare budgets and RFPs, manage schematic design, source and evaluate bids and award work to contractors and other suppliers.
• Coordinate and manage real estate professionals, architects, engineers, program managers, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare business cases, project schedules, timelines, management reports and provide status updates.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and airport authority representatives on all facility projects.
• Coordinate airport station start up / shutdown tasks required to provide the necessary real estate infrastructure for the airport operation.
• Track, record and analyze project costs.
• Perform a variety of oversight roles, including capital budgeting, master planning, and implementing corporate standards.
• Participate in airport/airline technical subcommittees offering technical solutions and guidance as needed.
• Coordinate space requirements between user departments and landlords in accordance with corporate standards.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Management, Business or related field preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities project management, preferably with focus on airport/airlines and corporate services
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Strong project budgeting and project management experience
• Must possess a US Passport and be able to travel throughout the Frontier network
• Must be willing to relocate to Denver
