We manage the efficient supply of airfreight-containers and –pallets, so called Unit Load Devices’ for 13 leading airlines at over 500 airports globally.

For our regional offices in Dallas, we are looking for an Administrator Ground Handling Support. You will be responsible for the ground handling compliance related to Unit Load Devices’ at the respective station, of which each is a hub in our customer’s network.

Main responsibilities:

Responsibility for the station’s ground handling compliance with respect to all aspects of Unit Load Devices management
While being the only Jettainer representative at the station (Miami, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles), reporting to the Jettainer team supervisor at Dallas
Responsible for Unit Load Devices movement control at the station and to realize a 100% Service Level for the customer at any time
Establishing a strong business relationship with our customer, American Airlines and their local ground handling agents
Supervising physical station processes such as station inventory management, Unit Load Devices-positioning process, DAM Unit Load Devices management, and etcetera
Independently analyzing the weak areas of the Unit Load Devices supply and the data quality; Develop and implement solutions in close cooperation with the affected areas
Supervising and steering local Unit Load Devices repair processes and liaising with the repair shops
Defining, generating and evaluating various reports, monitoring especially the material and repair costs to the manager ground handling procedures
Responsibility for the smooth operation and to improve product and process quality of ground handling procedures at the respective station
Advising ground handling staff in order to achieve the daily service quality in Unit Load Devices handling on the airport
Responsibility for the implementation of a continuous improvement process
Support function for the central Unit Load Devices Control desk
Other duties as assigned or required

Requirements:

Your profile

Bachelor`s degree, preferred, or equivalent work experience
Airport or cargo handling experience would be an advantage
Excellent communication and persuasion skills
Ability to analyze and execute reports
A strong commitment to customer requirements is her/his working attitude
Experienced in implementing Lean Methodologies or other process/ quality improvement models
Ability to work independently, self-motivated and without local supervision
Ability to work in virtual teams
Confidence to be the only company representative at the station
Highly developed interpersonal and strong leadership skills
Project management skills
Ability to develop and implement procedures and concepts independently
Flexible and ability to handle stress
Ability to work weekends and public holidays, when needed
