Following on from the announcement of the Qantas and American Airlines expanded partnership, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Long Haul Revenue Management team based in Dallas. Your new position as Market Pricing Analyst will involve implementing defined point of sale North America market strategies into the global distribution system for the betterment of QF and as part of the QF/AA partnership. The role will be embedded into the AA revenue management team and will be reporting to the Manager Revenue Partnerships also based in Dallas.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Responsible for achieving revenue targets across assigned markets by establishing & maintaining competitive tariffs
Manage and maximise revenue by timely implementation of new and changed competitive fares into market
Analyse competitor activity and pricing and recommend competitive responses aimed at maximising revenue while balancing market shares
Responsible for getting fares to market in a timely accurate manner
Contribute to development of, implement and execute market pricing strategy for assigned markets
Responsible for ensuring the Demand Forecasting Specialist has all relevant pricing information to initiate the appropriate system demand influences reflecting market dynamics
Continually review working practises to drive best practise and remain at the forefront of the industry innovation
Collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders including sales, finance and marketing
Comply with Corporate and Divisional Service Standards.

Requirements:
What you’ll bring to the role:
Bachelor degree with major in Business, Marketing, Finance, economics, Mathematics, or other business based field
3 years + experience in an airline revenue management department
1 year + experience in SITA, PROS and Amadeus
Working knowledge of procedures for establishing passenger fares and passengers proration methodologies are essential
IATA qualifications in tariffs, ticketing and proration would be an assest
Self-starter, able to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and to handle simultaneous projects
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
Desire to be a part of the a winning team with a matching work ethic and energy level
Strong interpersonal skills with focus on collaboration, co-operation and communication
the ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card or equivalent
