As a Digital Iteration Manager, your work will see you lead the co-ordination and optimisation of digital delivery on Qantas.com. You will be involved with managing change within a time-boxed period, managing,owning and improving our delivery process, keeping Qantas Direct team’s focused on achieving business goals, managing the removal of any impediments,stakeholder relationship building and ensuring the necessary measurements are in place to measure success and failure. Effective end-to-end management of Qantas Direct delivery capability is essential to success within this role.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Seek, own and lead opportunities to deliver incremental improvements to Qantas Direct delivery model that will improve efficiency
Manage and own the relationship with Qantas IT to ensure that any project that is being delivered in co -ordination with the scope and goals of larger IT initiatives.
Manage and own the efficiency of the Qantas Direct delivery model to ensure that results lead to incremental cost margin gains to the business.
Manage the implementation of measurements to ensure that outcomes of any delivery , including the delivery model itself, are measurable and results will contribute to Qantas Direct’s strategic goals
Manage and lead Qantas Direct Product Owners and a geographically-distributed multi-functional delivery team to turn requirements into value-packed minimal viable products
Manage and own the relationship with the vendors that own the tools that Qantas Direct utilises to deliver change
Manage and own the research into industry trends for delivery and ensure that artifact’s are captured and shared across Qantas Direct to promote opportunities

Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the role:

A minimum of four years’ experience managing and delivering digital solutions
A minimum of one years’ experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in an Agile environment
Experience with driving delivery with a geographically distributed multi-functional delivery team and stakeholders
Experience with concepts such as Waterfall , Agile, XP, Kanban, Scrum, DevOps & CI/CD
Experience with introducing, advocating and improving tools necessary for collaborating, tracking, workflows, monitoring and reporting on delivery and processes
Strong skills in facilitation, situation awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment and driving transparency
Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Coding tools, Atlassian Suite, Microsoft OS and Office Suites
Knowledge of the importance of code quality, impacts of technical debt and applicable technologies used by the team
Strong verbal communication skills (written and verbal)within a high volume, demanding, ever changing environment
Proven ability to adapt to the changing needs and priorities of the business, and prioritise workload accordingly
