Competitive salary and shift penalties
7 day a week rotating roster, (Part-time Shift work), min 20 hours per week
12 month temporary position with may lead to permanent employment at the end of the contract

Your new position as a Customer Service Agent will see you providing outstanding premium service to our customers. Located in our Customer Experience team, this is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the face of Qantas in one of our iconic airports.

What will I do day to day?

Represent Qantas in a professional manner, supporting colleagues and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers
Proactively greet customers on arrival at the airport and enthusiastically assist the Check in process for Qantas and client airlines customers
Assist customers with boarding and disembarking information, including checking correct documentation
Assist customers with special needs including mobility support, ensuring discretion and personal integrity
Co-operate with other team members and departments for the benefit of the customer
Provide consistent and excellent customer service by being informative and taking ownership of problems

Requirements:

What we're looking for:

Recent premium customer service experience (face to face desirable)
Exceptional customer service focus with a proven ability to manage and diffuse difficult situations
Strong verbal communication skills within a demanding, ever changing environment
Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
Proactive ‘can do’ positive attitude
Ability to succeed in a fast paced operational environment
Well-developed problem solving skills and able to follow through to resolution
Exceptional standard of personal presentation
Ability to assist customers with personal items / baggage within established OH&S guidelines
Strong listening skills
Compassion and empathy for special needs customers
Ability to work a 7 day rotational shift roster.
General computer literacy skills
