As a Learning & Development Project Manager, your work will see you responsible for the design, development and evaluation of training materials to support the Learning & Development team deliver to customer and compliance requirements. This will involve consulting and partnering with multiple stakeholders to create a blend of online courses, self-paced resources and facilitator led courses. You will drive process improvement to unlock successful learning outcomes within our programs.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Undertaking and responding to training needs relating to organisational objectives
Designing, developing and implementing effective training and assessment solutions across the business in a timely, cost effective and innovative manner
Project Managing the delivery of project outcomes to manage and meet stakeholder agreements
Ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement throughout the learning and development cycle
Working collaboratively with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the realisation of initiatives
Maintaining learning and development currency and knowledge to support the Qantas Group learning culture
Actively participating as a team member to promote and support business initiatives

Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the role:

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) (or Diploma of Training Design and Development (TAE50211)
Tertiary qualifications in Adult learning/ Teaching or Business Related studies
Proven experience in interpreting organisational standards, policies, procedures, process and competencies for the development of learning
Confidence and experience in deploying Project Management with a successful track record
Extensive knowledge of and experience in instructional design theories and courseware development
Understanding of the process in the design of e-learning materials using authoring tools (eg: Articulate Storyline)
An aptitude and preference to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work to a deadline and manage multiple stakeholder’s changing requirements
Knowledge of various operating systems, file structures, storyboarding, graphic design principles and software and collaboration tools
An understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS’) and Reusable Learning Objects (RLOs)
