Your new role as Senior Analyst, Category Management & Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is critical in supporting your Category in managing supplier contracts, supplier performance and relationship management. Your key responsibilities include contract negotiation support & analysis, supplier bid and pricing analysis, financial recovery coordination and liaising with internal departments.

Located within Qantas Engineering, Supply Chain this role is responsible for the management and delivery of end-to-end supply chain services for Aircraft Equipment and Maintenance. This includes Procurement, Supplier & Contract Management, Planning & Inventory Management, Logistics and other support services.



Your main responsibilities will include:

Collecting data, providing analysis and insight to support Category strategy development and Category management

Safeguarding the agreed supplier spend by analysing supplier activities against the agreed scope of work and verifying payments and credits

Reviewing and maintaining contracts, and providing advice to the business

Constantly monitoring supplier performance through analysis and interpretation of supplier and stakeholder reports

Preparing information and compiling data to use in Supplier performance reviews

Maintaining the link between service delivery and customer requirements

Contributing to cost savings and enhanced service delivery through the identification and administration of new initiatives and opportunities

Developing strong stakeholder and supplier communication channels

Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the role:

Strong analytical skills with a customer focused drive

Ability to conduct financial analysis and reporting with high levels of attention to detail

Sound understanding of the purchasing function

Demonstrated experience in an Analyst role, preferably in a Supply Chain function

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (Access would be appreciated)

Experience in or exposure to project management

High levels of self-motivation and the ability to work without direct supervision

Effective communication skills - both written and verbal and ability to liaise with all organisational levels
