Description:

As a Trainee Senior Officer (Flight Control) in Flight Operations Control Center, your responsibilities include the following:



Monitor all SIA, SIA Cargo and SilkAir’s flights;
Ensure all data is updated in operational systems, as well as furnish pilots with connecting flights, parking bays and any other information upon request;
Ensure all overseas stations are informed of flight delays, disruptions or emergencies;
Liaise with SIA, SilkAir and SIA Cargo representatives/ engineers when there is an AOG situation; and
Any other duties assigned by Supervisor / Flight Operations Controller.



In addition to basic salary, remuneration will include shift, meal and other applicable allowances.

Requirements:

Required Skills

- Applicants should have a Diploma in any discipline

- Be able to work independently,

- IT proficient

- Be able to perform 24 hrs shift duties.

- Good command of written and spoken English, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills



Successful candidates will have to undergo approximately 3 to 6 months of training, including on-the-job training. Upon completion of training, the candidate will undergo assessment in order to be confirmed as a Senior Flight Control Officer.
