As a Financial System Analyst your work will see you accountable for processing, analysing and reporting Route Profitability results for Domestic, International and Regionals business. The position will also be the main contact point for Route Profitability and will be responsible for production of the data-sets and reporting and providing insightful commentary.



You will also manage the co-ordination of governance around the data, providing support to the Route Profitability Steering Group, (the decision making body for the RP dataset). This will involve owning the allocation methodologies and leading regular review of those methodologies with the relevant business partners.



You will be responsible for:
•Manage the production of route profitability data for both actual and forecast of International & Domestic networks; analyse & report on network profitability, and profitability by network, route, sector, aircraft type and class
•Co-ordinate the statistics required for the Route Profitability tool sourced from multiple stakeholders & perform monthly maintenance of the Route Profitability tool, including adjustments for new accounts and cost centres, changes to cost pool mappings and allocation methodologies
•Performing analysis to ensure Route Profitability allocation methodologies remain valid including International & Domestic network percentage splits, weighting statistics
•Producing monthly Route Profitability reports including commentary (reports service both the commercial and finance communities) &owning the relationship with management and key stakeholders to deliver figures/results from Route Profitability tool, cost centre adjustments and weighting statistics.
•Partner with the Decision Support teams to manage the load of ad hoc data and analytics and assist with navigating both the management & network hierarchies as required
•Manage the reporting governance framework for route profitability results, ensuring the continued relevance and effectiveness of Route Profitability reports

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will display:
•Graduate degree in A relevant discipline and 2-5 years relevant experience; or Diploma in a relevant discipline or 5-8 years equivalent relevant experience
•Professional accounting qualifications and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA Australia
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear financial analysis and advice to management and business partners
•Process improvement focus & commercial orientation and with ability to manage customer expectations
•Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing & strong PC skills, including Microsoft Suite
•Proven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure of multiple deliverables within tight deadlines
