About the Job
The purpose of this role is responsible for processing and controlling purchase orders related to aircraft technical spares and equipment as requested by Air Arabia Technical Management.
Key Accountabilities:
•Initiates quotation requests for Aircraft spares as determined by Supervisor and Production Controller.
•Ensures to Keep Minimum Stock level of parts by Purchase Order Replenishing as per instruction of Supervisor
•Ensures that all company procedures and airworthiness regulations are followed with regards the purchasing of spares from approved suppliers.
•Negotiates the best commercial price and supply arrangements for all suppliers and vendors used by Air Arabia.
•Evaluate new vendors from market & coordinate for required documents if required to send the same for QA Vendor Approval Process.
•In conjunction with the Finance Department. Establish the required credit references and account set-up procedures with respective suppliers & Coordinate to settle if any Invoice Discrepancy related to Purchase
•Raises the necessary Purchase Orders on the RAL Inventory control system & Follow-up for on-time Delivery.
•As requested by the Stores Inspector, ensure that any stores discrepancies related to part number, quality or damaged material are promptly resolved with the suppliers.
•Assist Supervisor for Material Planning & Provisioning of Maintenance.
•Coordinate with AOG Desk & Maintenance to meet all Material requirements during Heavy Maintenance.
Note – The role defined here is not exhaustive and duties and responsibilities in line with the job function may be added from time to time.
Key Performance Measures:
•Encourage maintaining correct stock levels to support aircraft maintenance.
•Ensuring the most competitive price is negotiated for all stock purchases.
•Proper coordination for assigned Heavy Maintenance
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
•Graduation in any stream & Minimum 3 year Experience in similar capacity within the aviation industry. Possesses appropriate knowledge of the legal requirements of the GCAA. Professional membership of associations related to the aircraft industry.
