We are now seeking an Avionic Design Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including the preparation and checking of design documents and drawings and addressing in-service difficulty reports/design queries after completion of a design. They must also ensure that all design procedures are adhered to. They will be effective in identifying problems, securing relevant information, relating data from different sources and identifying possible causes of any problems.

Liaison with EASA, tasked NAAs and customers will also be required.

The Person:

As a minimum the successful candidate must have 5 years experience within a design office, producing drawings and reports and have a further education qualification in an avionics/electrical discipline and the ability to use Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical. An awareness of current aeronautical practices/issues is also essential.
