Description:

Salary: to £40,000 dependent on experience

/ The Role:

This role calls for confident individuals with high levels of communication skills and a can-do attitude. Working with a range of high-profile international clients, (including Aircraft Owners / Owners Agents), you will not only gain a thorough understanding of all their current service requirements, but will take on full delivery oversight of safe, cost effective and timely services whilst identifying opportunities to upsell new ones. The role will involve regular travel to client sites and their teams of representatives, as you continually update and manage their individual needs. You will be fully supported by the various facets of the operations team as a whole (Ground Operations, CAMO, Charter Sales, Business Analysts and Crewing), ensuring you have complete scope and oversight of all Client Activity, Aircraft and Financial mechanisms.

Scope of role:

Client and supplier liaison (via key relationships)
Aircraft operations
Supporting other operational responsibilities e.g. financial and systems / processes

Key relationships include:

Financial Analysts, Engineering Support, Crew Managers, Travel Manager, Operations Controllers, Crew Scheduling Manager. The ideal candidate will demonstrate commitment to the following Company Values:

Regular liaison with assigned clients to manage all existing business
Build and strengthen relationships with key client personnel to understand the Client’s needs and ensure Gama are positioned to manage the tactical and strategic delivery of services, and to identify and win any new business opportunities
Ensure timely and accurate communication with Crew and other Company personnel to identify any areas of weakness and work with Operational teams to suggest and implement improvements
Act as the first point of escalation against any client issue or complaint and manage through to resolution, with the assistance of the Lead Guardian

Performance driven:

Action and respond to initial Client request within a maximum of one hour of receipt or as agreed with Client representative
Ensure handling, fuel, crew hotels, crew catering permits and other services are organised for any particular flight
Negotiate rates for services within agreed limits of authority and accountability
Ensure all documentation pre-flight is provided to crew via company systems
Organise crew briefing
Provide full flight watch service advising ETD/ETA and other relevant information to all parties concerned
Flight planning where required
First stage approval of invoices to agreed time frame
Ensuring all relevant costs are captured and reported to allocated financial analyst for month end client reporting including but not limited to;

All Aircraft flying schedules
All crew training requirements
All crew transport requirements
Ancillary engineering items (Dispatch transport mileage reporting)
Manage Crew substitutions from other aircraft and any associated contractual recharges.
Maintenance Planning forecast with allocated engineering support ensuring client awareness of maintenance requirements
Maintaining Aircraft certification is up to date and entered into system
Monthly collation and copy of tech logs for EU-ETS submittals
Aircraft Fuel card requirements are met

Proven negotiation skills
Flexible, adaptable and able to remain calm in pressurised situations
Multi tasker and team player with good knowledge of world geography and time zones
Above average levels of computer literacy and proven experience of using CRM software
Excellent written communication and high levels of numeracy
Flexibility to travel throughout the UK.
A UK driving licence

This is a permanent full-time role based at Farnborough Head Office and may be offered on either a shift pattern, or Monday – Friday working hours. This will be discussed at interview, as will the salary.

It is expected that these duties can be successfully achieved within a normal working day/shift. Please note, as per the very nature of the role, seeing in your aircraft or taking calls out of office hours to see to the needs of the Client, is considered a normal part of duties and therefore, will not qualify as overtime. However, we do acknowledge that from time to time overtime will be an expected part of the role to fulfil the client experience. Overtime will only be claimable in extenuating circumstances and with prior signed approval from your Direct Report. Standard benefits apply.
