Description:

The CO-OP - TechOps Resource Planning provides support to the Specialist & Project Leader - TechOps Resource Planning to manage the resource impact flight and maintenance induction schedule changes to Delta stations worldwide through planning and analysis. The position will assist in determining TechOps staffing requirements for assigned work groups based on demand inputs through the application of TechOps processes, technology enhancements and insourcing opportunities. The position develops, analyzes, and implements appropriate actions to maximize use of facilities, staffing productivity, and maintenance capacity while reducing unnecessary costs within the departments. Completes large and complex ad - hoc projects containing highly confidential material and moderate financial risk. In addition, the position investigates ways to better deploy resources and change processes to improve TechOps operations and productivity. Additional responsibilities include participation in data collection efforts for projects that impact cross-functional departments and identifying and implementing improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Requirements:

The CO-OP - TechOps Resource Planning requires that a candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or other relevant quantitative fields. Candidate must have at least 3 work semesters available. Must be a strong team player, detail oriented and perform well under pressure. Candidate must convey professional image to all levels of associates. Strong written and verbal communication skills highly preferred. Should be proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Experience with simulation, modeling and statistical analysis software is a plus. Must be willing to travel as required.
