Job Summary: The GSE Maintenance Utility Worker assists and supports mechanics to service and turn ground support equipment to help assure timely repairs. This worker maintains the physical condition and upkeep of equipment/facilities to ensure operation is compliant with all Delta policies and provides a safe work environment. They utilize appropriate detergents, solutions, and equipment to effectively and efficiently accomplish shop, GSE related functions, such as parts transportation, parts cleaning, preparation of parts for painting/processing, parts and equipment touch-up painting, shop and facilities cleaning. Requires outside work. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Requirements:

Job Qualifications: Candidate must be authorized to work in the US, have a valid driver's license, and be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently and be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical documents and manuals. Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including fixed or rotating shifts, both indoors and outdoors, include traveling, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must meet the physical requirements which qualify a person to perform essential job functions.

This position requires Candidate to successfully pass an extensive criminal background check, and all information provided will be verified. Any discrepancy will result in immediate disqualification. Candidate must also successfully pass a drug screen in addition to successfully passing the background check.
