Job summary:
Revenue Management Development is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join a team that is responsible for optimizing Delta's $35 billion revenue. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong capabilities to identify business needs and translate them into actionable quantitative problems and solve them. She/he will have the opportunity to master in depth knowledge of RM inventory system and build up practical knowledge to advice and represent RM leadership in development projects. The candidate should have excellent communication skills in order to work with cross function teams and present to senior management. The selected candidate will be part of a team that is responsible to support the entire Revenue Management data cycle, including inventory data collection, forecasting, optimization, inventory controls, decision making and reporting.

Requirements:

Job qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Decision Science or Operations Research is required. Masters in a quantitative discipline and some development or design experience is preferred. Candidates should have the knowledge of revenue management theory and the experience of handling large data sets. Airline data and work practice are plus but not required. Capable of managing multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment. Focused on results and can prioritize competing interests with seemingly disparate goals.
