Airports - Ground Staff

Description:

The Chief Operations will lead the existing team of airport operations personnel and report to the CEO and the board to establish and execute plans to achieve the overall strategic and operational objective of the airport.

Responsibilities:
• Strategize, prepare, develop, coordinate and implement procedures and policies for the day-to-day operations of the Airport
• Provide leadership, direction, professional development and performance management to the team and ensure they are actively working towards the delivery of strategic objectives.
• Lead, organize and plan activities relating to airport operations, ground handling, maintenance, airport safety/security, terminal and passenger services, custodial services and cargo operations to ensure a safe, effective and efficient operations.
• Responsible for meeting all operational performance targets as well as monitoring and controlling the airport operating budget.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree, or higher
• 10 years of experience in airport management at a commercial service airport involving ground handling, operations and maintenance, cargo, safety and security etc.
• Proven track record in managing the operations of small to mid-size airports
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of management necessary to plan, organize, implement, analyze and evaluate the activities of an international airport

For this role, you will need to relocate on a 2 years contract (renewable). An apartment will be provided. 30days annual leave, medical coverage and home trip tickets will be provided too.
